Up until August 2019 I was recording fermentation temperatures manually, twice a day, based on the displayed temperature from the temperature controller that hooked up to the fermentation chamber.

From September 2019 onwards, temperatures are being recorded automatically using a DS18B20 1-Wire temperature sensor and a Raspberry Pi with a short python script to record the temperature every 6 hours.

The temperature recorded by the DB12B20 differs from that on the temperature controller. I am using an offset calculated by comparing the sensor readings to manually recorded ones based on the temperature controller and averaging them (not ideal but it levels things out a bit).
